Hidden in the woods some 180 feet above the lake, the Cabin is as much a work of art as it is a mountain retreat. A sawmill set up on site allowed all the lumber to build the Cabin to come from pine and oak trees cut on the Property. A huge pecan tree, blown over by a storm, became hand-crafted cabinets. Well over 3000 rocks, gathered from all around the Property, were meticulously set to make the foundation supports and the towering fireplace. Utilities were run underground and every effort was made to disturb nature as little as possible. Two years in the making , no detail was spared to make the Cabin both rustic and comfortable; a perfect retreat from the everyday world.
